1. Provider and scope
Button is provided by Ilya Malyanov, Kochhannstr. 30, 10249 Berlin, Germany. These terms cover the Button app, weatherbutton.com and their related services.
2. App licence
Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs the licence for the iOS app. These terms supplement it and cover Button's services, purchases and website. Mandatory consumer rights still apply.
3. What Button provides
Button turns weather and the details you choose into clothing guidance for a baby. It is general guidance, not medical advice or a medical device. Weather and forecasts can be wrong or delayed. Check how your baby feels and adjust clothing when needed. Ask a medical professional if your baby has special medical needs or you are worried.
Apple Weather supplies the forecasts. Your use of this real time weather guidance application or website is at your sole risk. Weather data may not be accurate.
4. Purchases
Button includes seven days of full access after you first complete setup. This free period does not automatically start a paid subscription. To continue afterwards, you can choose a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. The price and billing period are shown before purchase. Reinstalling the app does not start another free period.
Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. “Lifetime” means access to Button's paid features for as long as Button is offered and operated. It refers to the lifetime of Button, not the lifetime of the purchaser, and does not guarantee that Button will be available forever. Mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged.
Apple shows the price, duration, renewal terms and other purchase details before you confirm. App Store purchases are billed and managed through Apple. Subscription cancellation and refund requests are also handled through Apple, subject to Apple's rules and applicable law. You can manage a subscription in your Apple Account and restore an eligible purchase in Button. Statutory refund and warranty rights still apply.
5. Fair use
You may use Button for yourself and the babies in your care. Do not break the law, interfere with the service, bypass access controls, copy protected content beyond what the law allows, or reverse engineer WeatherKit APIs or Apple Weather data.
6. Affiliate links
Button may show clearly marked affiliate links to products sold by other companies. If you buy after following one, Button may receive a commission. The retailer remains responsible for the product, sale, delivery, returns and its own terms.
7. Button content
Button's app, website, name, original text, code, design and artwork are legally protected. These terms let you use the service. They do not transfer ownership.
8. Availability
We work to keep Button available, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or a forecast for every place and time. We may update or change the service for product, security, legal or technical reasons. Mandatory consumer rights remain unchanged.
9. Liability
We are liable without limit for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, an expressly guaranteed quality and liability under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaching a duty that is central to the contract. In that case, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Mandatory consumer law remains unchanged.
10. Law, changes and contact
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection in the country where you live remains in place.
